A configurable 1-4 lead design providing 7-32 electrodes for subscalp EEG recording. Using 4 leads all lobes of the brain can be covered resulting in comprehensive EEG data collection. The leads connect to a small subscalp transceiver that couples to an external wearable device.

The external wearable headpiece magnetically couples to the Epios® technology over the skin providing power and data transfer. The wearable system includes a small wearable device for temporary data storage and a docking station to charge the device and transfer collected data to secure BrainScape servers.

Epios® Cloud software suppors EEG data visualisation, annotation and reporting. It was developed and tested with neurologists and EEG experts to work specifically with the unique datasets from the Epios® system and has been CE certified.
